For Aransas. — The schooner Water Witch, Capt. Trenis, arrived at this port yesterday from the Bay of Aransas, whence she sailed on the 18th ult.  She brought no news, so far as we could learn.  The barque St. Andrew arrived on the 17th with two companies of the 8th Regiment of Infantry from Key West, and a large ship, supposed to be the Kalamazoo, was going in when Capt. Trenis sailed.

The ship Damascus, which arrived at this port yesterday, spoke, on the 25th ult., off Bemini Islands, the U. s. store-ship Lexington, from New York to Aransas, with U. S. troops.  The same day the Damascus also spoke the U. S. mail schooner On-ka-hy-e, fourteen days out from Norfolk, bound for Texas.
