Shipwreck. — The U. S. schooner T. F. Hunt,
arrived yesterday in 6 days from Aransas, we learn that the schr. Magnet,
Capt. Burgess, from New Orleans for Aransas Bay, with subsistence, wagons,
&c. &c. For the army, went ashore on the beach of St. Joseph’s Island on
the morning of the 22d ult. The vessel was a total loss — the cargo was
saved, although in a damaged condition.
