From Aransas. — Since our last daily
publication, the ship Suviah has arrived here from Aransas, having sailed
on the 15th inst. She but confirms the news already received
here by way of Pensacola, of a Mexican declaration of war, the loss of the
Swallow, and the removal of the troops from St. Joseph’s Island to San
Patricio. The Suviah spoke, on the 18th, the schooner Edward
S. Lamden, and on the 20th saw the schooner Mary Wilkes, both
hence for Aransas with stores.
